To everyone in the US. I've eaten all my turkey and shoveled in a few pounds of pie, so I'm perfectly set to watch more Doctor Who stuff (and maybe rewatch Sherlock again).

Somehow I got stuck on Doctor Who again-- I think because of the possible Doctor Who movie rumors or something. I still haven't seen all of 10th Doc's episodes, so I'm going through those now. His first season is...ugh. There's some good stuff in it, but I really can't stand how smug he and Rose are. And they're also kind of...callous, I think? ( Read more... )

So basically this season of Doctor Who was, in turns, amazing and infuriating. Amazing, because there were some really cool parts and some wonderful acting and lots of Rory and Amy and that Neil Gaiman episode which kicked butt. Infuriating, because wtf happened to the people that made sure this shit made sense?
